Redback Drilling Tools is, as the name would imply, an Australian based company with marketing and service locations around the world. Redback Drilling Tools are part of the SGS group of companies by way of Gearhart Australia. We are named after the spider indigenous to Australia, hence our logo.

Redback is focused on developing reaming and torque reducing tools that have a high reliability. Their torque reduction, and resultant vibration reduction capabilities means they are worthy of their position in bottom hole assemblies where they enhance the performance of, and add life to, bits and other BHA components.
